Have you ever had trouble with ants? My wife and I, at one time, had an insane amount of ants coming into our house, and you know, as we're trying to deal with them, I just became more interested in them and went to study ants for a little bit, to learn more about them. And you know there is this passage in the Bible that says, “Go to the ant thou sluggard;, consider her ways and be wise: which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, provides her meat in the summer and gathereth her food in the harvest." Now Proverbs 6:6-8 that talks about this, "Go to the ant you sluggard,” meaning, you lazy person, consider her ways and be wise. There are many powerful things we can learn about ants and I learned you could block their entrance into your house and they don't pout and give up and say,  Ahh! This guy is trying to keep us out. They just found another way in. And you can do it over and over, they just find another way. And there are several very interesting things one of the things that I learned about the ants is that ants actually have two stomachs. Why do they have two stomachs? One of their stomachs is for their own sustenance, for their own nourishment. So they can obviously eat, live and go on.  The other stomach is actually a storage container for other ants. This is very interesting. The ants are eating for themselves and for others. Think about that. The Bible says go to them and be wise, that we can actually learn from the ants. It made me think,  we too should be feeding on the word of God. The Bible is called the Word of God and we should be eating daily from the Word of God. And one of the things we can do is as we are eating the Word of God it’s giving life to us, but it always should be also for other people. Not only for our own benefit, but for the benefit of others. Memorizing scripture is one of the greatest experiences you can have in your life. Many people find that one of the most powerful spiritual experiences of their entire life is as they memorize Scripture and meditate upon it. And as we do, we can be taking it in for our own spiritual nourishment, our own sustenance but it can also give a benefit to the people around us. We made a 10 message series that begins with the science of the brain and it also talks about Bible memorization. It is  called, Transformed Brain, Transformed Life. It's powerful. It can be used in small groups. You can get together in a small group and they're basically 10 half-hour messages. So you can watch the message and discuss it.
